I was working as a volunteer at the school from October 2017 till the end of March 2018. I have just positive things to say about the school and the project. The people involved really care about the kids and the school, the teachers always want to improve themselves and the children are so nice and lovely, it’s just fun working with them.
I was working in the kindergarten, helping with teaching, playing and preparation. I was also doing social media for the Brown Bread Bakery and worked there from time to time, when someone was absent.
Overall it’s been a great experience, I can recommend it to everybody who’s interested in social work, working with kids or teaching.

I first learned of the Nadi Asha Learn for Life school 2 years ago on a trip to Varanasi. On this trip I had the chance to spend time at the school from September 9-12. It is incredible to see the quality of education and overall care that these children, who would otherwise not be enrolled in school at all, are receiving. They are clothed, fed, provided medical care. They practice yoga and study art, along with all the core areas of math and english and hindi and more. The commitment of the teacher and staff is most impressive. I was able to listen to them as they discussed challenges with certain children and situations. Everyone has a voice, everyone is respectful of other's opinions and experiences.

I wish American schools were this well run and its children so well cared for.

Learn for life school is a fantastic school that teaches 140 students from Kindergarten to Highschool. Their concept is beautifully inspiring as they teach boys and girls, they have a women empowerment programme, employ a wide range of locals, hold computer classes and much more. All their staff is lovely and it feels like a homely learning environment. The school provides their students two free meals a day, a school uniform and free education for the children. What I noticed is that the students are very proud to be part of the Learn for Life family. Well done! Keep up the great work!

The learn for life school is such a great project! It gives children a chance they wouldn’t have had without the project! There is so much passion and work behind it and you can feel that. The children are very lucky to be part of this school and it seems they are very proud, too!
